CARTOONS
METHODOLOGY.
For this collection of photos I printed out pictures of well-known cartoon characters from my own and my friends childhoods and placed them in positions around my house, for example, lying on my sofa or leaning against a door. I found that these photos looked better in black and white because then the printed pictures blended with their surroundings better, furthermore, it added to the effect of old photography to fit with my theme of nostalgia. I also took most of the photos from a low point, near the ground to make the photo from the view point of a small child. To improve this shoot I would take the pictures on location in various different situations instead of just my house.
