MOTORWAY BRIDGE
To photograph this motorway, I took my camera on a tripod to a nearby railway bridge and used a long shutter speed to capture the light trails of the headlights and break-lights of passing cars. I positioned myself at the centre of the road to capture both sides of the road however I found that the head-lights of each car was brighter than the break-lights and this made it difficult to adduct my camera to an appropriate aperture for both sides of the road. After taking this photo I used photoshop to sharpen the image and emphasise the brightness of the yellow and red lights, I like this effect because it creates contrast to the dark background and the white right side.
